Springtime Easter Festival
Saturday, March 30th – Monday, April 22nd 9AM – 6PM @ Underwood Farms
Endless activities for the whole family at Underwood Family Farms this month. Wagon ride, bee barn, giant haystack, chicken shows, and animal races just to name a few!
Ventura Spring Street Fair
Saturday, April 6th 11AM – 6:30 PM @ Downtown Ventura
Enjoy local artists, non-profits, live entertainment, and commercial vendors on the 300-500 blocks of Main Street. Then take the kids by Mission Park for the free holiday egg hunt! For adults, the Wine Walk takes place from 3PM – 6PM.
44th Scandinavian Festival
Saturday, April 6th – Sunday, April 7th 10AM – 5PM @ Cal Lutheran Univ.
Celebrate the cultures at the largest Nordic festival in Southern California with traditional food, crafts, music, dancing, and games. Don’t miss out on the authentic Viking village, too. Free parking will be available.
1st Sunday at the SP Aviation Museum
Sunday, April 7th 10AM – 12PM @ Aviation Museum of Santa Paula
Free plane rides for kids, car cruise, food trucks, open museum and a pin up/greaser contest! A fun family outing on the first Sunday of every month.
Barnhouse Vintage Spring Market
Saturday, April 13th 8AM – 3PM @ Camarillo Airport
A large outdoor vintage market comprised of 100 small business owners and all of their vintage treasures. Get early bird tickets for 8AM entrance if you want to beat the crowds.
A Night at the Drive-in
Saturday, April 13th 6PM – 10:30PM @ Conejo Creek South Park
This event, hosted by the Conejo Valley Rotary, will support five charities and is free for kids 12 and under. Arrive promptly as gates close at 6PM and dress to impress the judges in the Best Pajamas & Movie Character Contests.
Baby Goat Yoga Pajama Party
Saturday, April 13th 10AM – 11:30AM @ Edens Garden
Lavenderwood Yoga is hosting goat yoga! What a fun way to spend your Saturday morning. Just be sure to purchase tickets in advance.
Makers’ Market
Saturday, April 13th 11AM – 6PM @ The Collection at Riverpark
Local artisans will be featuring their handcrafted goods on the second Saturday of each month.
KHAY Fest
Saturday, April 20th 1PM – 7PM @ Commemorative Air Force Museum
A massive beer garden, tons of food, and of course good music brought to you by KHAY! All ages are welcome and general admission is $35.
Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, April 20th 10AM – 1PM @ Arroyo Vista Park
Egg hunts for kids of all ages! Carnival games, a petting farm, and photos with the Easter Bunny, too.
Ojai Valley Tennis Tournament
Tuesday, April 23rd – Sunday, April 28th 8AM @ Ojai Valley Tennis Club
This event is filled with tennis lovers of all skill levels, but only the best get to compete. Occasionally you can even catch a glimpse of the pros! On Thursday, you can enjoy the annual Tea Tent while you watch the matches at Libbey Park.
Throwback Thursday Food Truck Festival
Thursday, April 25th 5PM – 9PM @ Camarillo Ranch House
This is the first of these festivals which will be held the last Thursday of each month (April – September). Enjoy food trucks, live entertainment, beer and wine. Admission is free and any money spent at the event will support education programs and historical preservation of the Camarillo Ranch Foundation.
Steam Railfest
Saturday, April 27th – Sunday, April 28th 9AM – 5PM @ Fillmore & Western Railway
Celebrate one of the greatest forms of early transportation with train rides, a car show, a carousel, live entertainment, and lots more. There’s fun for the whole family and admission is free.
Ventura’s Earth Day Eco Fest
Saturday, April 27th 10AM – 4PM @ Plaza Park
Green cars, vendors, and entertainment for the whole family. In support of going green, a free bike valet is available! Ventura Cycles will also be hosting a bike ride from the harbor to the festival at 8:30AM.
Ventura Eco Extreme Mud Challenge
Saturday, April 27th 9AM – 1PM @ Harmon Canyon (Foothill/Kimball Rd.)
Presented by the Ventura Police Officers’ Association, this event features a 5k mud challenge and a 1k kids challenge. This event raises funds for the Dee Dowell Memorial Scholarship.
Aut2Run
Sunday, April 28th 7AM @ CSU Channel Islands
Run in support of local children and adults with Autism. All donations benefit services and support for local children and family. This event is host by the Autism Society of Ventura County. Choose from five different race events, fun for the whole family!
